Hi All,
I received I485 receipts from my lawyer, they are missing my priority date which is in sept 2002. Not sure why they are missing..
Did any one come across the same situation....
what does it mean
Would you be kind enough to post your filing date and USCIS RD?

i won the DV lottery last year and am waiting to be called
as they lottery notification papers tell you - continue with all other immigration petitions.
the petitions are completely separate - take the GC with the petition that is adjudicated first and that's what I plan to do.

We still in negotiation. not come to a stage where EAD has been asked for. i am wondering what else could they ask for other than EAD like do they need to provide any proof that they will sponsor my green card or do i need to file AC21 in advance.
It all depends on Company. Most of the companies they just see EAD and take you.
If that company has dedicated IMM people and IMM knowledge they might ask you for more information and they just want to make sure they don't need to support you when needed.

My LCA appl has a priority date of June 2004; and so far, Dallas BEC has lost my resent-appl twice. Lawyers failed to retrieve any status after that, and suggested a congressional liaison enquiry into it. If anybody is aware of this enquiry, would you plz let me know? Thanx.

yes - I think the only difference is that you cannot use the approved AP to come in.
If you use H1B to enter u shd be ok... dont try to come in with the AP

To answer your second question, yes, the employer can revoke your I-140 petition which could result in denial of I-485 application. You are only covered under AC21 if your I-485 has been pending for more than 180 days as the previous poster suggested.

I am currently working as Programmer Analyst for a company who is currently doing the GC. I have been with them for about 7 years.
Starting next month I am going to use my H1 7th year.
I am pondering about a new offer Firmware Engg. My GC detaisl are below:
PD: 06/2003 -- EB3
Education: MS
I am planning to stay in H1B, if possible with the new employer. But thinking of doing PERM and see if I can port my earlier date during I-140 filing.
Any suggestions or recommendations ...

If you file the extension before expiry of the current I-94, you will be OK. It can be approved even after the expiry. She will be considered to be legally present without gap, if extension is granted.

Yeah many people got the I-140 update who files in July. What was your PD on LC Sub? If you pD was too old then you would have got your GC by now.

Maybe USCIS would earn more income by telling the illegal immigrants to file EAD/I-485/Biometics every year etc.. Immigration attroneys would earn good money by replying to RFEs for 12 million immigrants. Getting this 12 million illegal immigrants legalized will surely improve the economy.
